Feng Shui Clutter Clearing Day 67 - Rusty Can Opener

I think this came from and old camping box; the multifunction aspect is nice, it's also a church key and a bottle opener. I'm not crazy about using a rusty object with food so if we eat something from a can I think I'll use the other can opener that doesn't have an uncomfortable butterfly crank covered in rust.

My hubby used to drink loose tea from the co-op while he was in college. I kept this cute tea ball even though it never worked well and he stopped drinking tea. Every once in awhile it would show up in a kitchen drawer and I would think "this is cute" and toss it back in the drawer.

A friend has a messenger bag made from an old billboard and I thought it would be fun to make a bag from this colorful sign. My old sewing machine was a beast but this new one whimpers at the thought of sewing through vinyl. One and a half years is enough time to store a 10 foot long sign.

Feng Shui Clutter Clearing Day 55 - Robot Nodder Bobblehead Cabdy Container

Yay, this is something I didn't buy! I was given 2 tubes of candy with nodder heads. The gift giver thought I'd like to make robot bodies for the nodders and gave me 3 packs of air hardening clay to make them with. That's not going to happen but I'll use the clay for sculpture.

I asked the heads about tossing the candy and they nodded in approval. When inquired if they wanted to go along with, they said yes. Perhaps I should have hesitated about tossing such agreeable companions but I'll work through the guilt.

I gave this funny flip book to my daughter as a stocking stuffer and she gave it back to me many years later. I am a Pisces but it's the type of thing you do once or twice and never look at again. I'm glad I stopped buying my kids stuff. I tried gifting them stock and mutual funds but they weren't well received so now we do experiences. Fun events are much better for everyone. The best one was swimming with dolphins in Mexico on Christmas day.
