I converted several old audio book cassettes to CD and put each book in its own case. They all ended up in the garage since the books didn't warrant the limited space available on my Mac Book Pro. Now I  have an iMac and it's a hungry beast.

It's funny how flipping audio cassettes became a nuisance so we put them on CDs, then the iPod made CDs obsolete.

Feng Shui Clutter Clearing Day 74 - Drawing Stupid Cartooning Book

I found this book at the clearance section of Half Price Books and it on its way back to HPB. The author is a talented cartoonist with some very helpful suggestions and did not suffer from self esteem issues.

Every few years I thin out my books and I've probably bought enough to stock a small town library.

Addendum: We brought this book plus a bunch of other books to Half Price Books and they offered us a $1; I will stick with donating them to the library. HPB is a good place to buy, but not to sell.

Feng Shui Clutter Clearing Day 73 - Volumizing Hair Product

OK, just because the hair stylist can make this work doesn't mean I'll ever replicate her efforts. Why would I buy heat activated hair gunk when I never blow dry my hair? I have a hair drier but it's used to dry watercolor paint and soften the glue on price tags.

I need a salon wing man.

My daughter bought this plastic storage box for some cookies from Ikea. It's a weird size but I stopped her from tossing it, saying I'll see if I can find a use for it. It housed carrot sticks, was washed and now it's on it's way back to the trash. She had more sense than me.

Many years ago I bought a custom made, free standing marquee sign from the Curtis hotel in Minneapolis. The landmark hotel was torn down decades age and since I knew so little about the hotel I started collecting Curtis Hotel memorabilia. I still have the sign but I no longer care to keep the supporting memorabilia. I sold this postcard; now I need to work through the remainder.
